About Rebecca

Rebecca Blatt is a recent Digital Marketing graduate from Columbia College Chicago with a focus on Social Media & Digital Strategy. Originally from South Bend, Indiana, and now based in Chicago, she enjoys finding ways to blend creativity with data to drive engagement and support team goals.

During her time at Columbia, Rebecca built a strong foundation in marketing strategy, analytics, and business communication. She’s skilled in tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, using them regularly for scheduling, reporting, and content planning.

Most recently, Rebecca worked as Front Desk Coordinator for the School of Communication and Culture, where they managed daily office operations, organized studio scheduling, and served as the first point of contact for students, staff, and faculty. They also organized the school’s social media and event promotion efforts, along with running social media for Columbia’s Crochet & Knitting Club.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her thrifting around the city or working on her latest crochet project.

“To have ego means to believe in your own strength. And to also be open to other people's views. It is to be open, not closed. So, yes, my ego is big, but it's also very small in some areas. My ego is responsible for my doing what I do—bad or good.”
